Things definitely get complicated in Week 3 of our Facebook Official series as we discuss God’s plans and intentions for sex. It seems that every song, movie, magazine, book and celebrity have an opinion on sex and too often the church is silent! This week is not about bashing sex or making it evil, but God does have a specific design for it and that design is between two people within the constrains of marriage. Sex is a wonderful gift from God to His people, but it can be seriously tarnished and abused when not used the way God created it to be used.
Join us this week to talk about how abstaining from sex in relationships now benefits your marriage later!

For the second week of our Facebook Official dating series we’re going to practically talk about biblical guidelines for dating. In fact this week YOU get to decide what we talk about. All students are going to be encouraged to write down a few questions they want answered about dating and they’ll be answered by our panel of relationships “experts.”
We believe that though the Bible doesn’t directly talk about dating that it does give us principles that we should be applying to our dating relationships.

This week we’re starting a new series called Facebook Official. In this series we’ll discuss how students following Christ should be conducting their dating lives. Over four weeks we’ll cover everything from relationships all the way to the topic of sex.
Check out what will be happening in the series:
Friend Request - We’re going to start the series looking at healthy relationships, both in friendship and dating. The common theme is that our relationship with Jesus impacts how we conduct relationships.
Relationship Status - The Bible may not speak directly to dating, but we do believe that there are Biblical guidelines that Christians should be following when it comes to dating. Come ask your questions directly to a panel of dating and marriage experts.*
Also, this week is our 2nd Annual Dating and Dodgeball. After our service we’ll be playing dodgeball from 7:30-8:30 PM!
It’s Complicated - In the third week we are going to directly talk about the issue of sex in dating. God created sex specifically for the relationship of marriage. Sex within marriage is an incredible blessing, but when used outside of marriage it can also bring great harm.
Refresh - Many have already messed up physically in relationships or just been a part of poor relationship. We want to end the series with a positive note, letting you know no matter what has happened in the past you can start healthy relationships now.
This is going to be a great series to bring your friends to. Bring as many people as you can as you learn about God’s intention for your dating life as a teenager.
