Fun Elements: We played two games at once! Two students battled in the Frigid Fashion Show, while everyone else played our own version of Draw Something (live on the screen w/ an iPad). Fun! (Also, week 3 with a Toy Box Gang Video).

Favorite Moment: My friend Alan (@ahable), a missionary on campus at U of I, taught for the evening. He had a much different style of teaching that was refreshing.

Fun Element: We played an old school game and the Impossible Shot. When all the students were done, Phil made the shot!

Favorite Hardest Moment: I (Ryne) announced that Kate and I are moving to Tulsa, OK to be a part of a one year old church. It is sad to think about leaving our home of the past three years, but we are excited about the opportunity God has placed before us.
The Point: What makes you run from God?

Fun Element: We played ‘Marshmallow Shooter’ (yep…we shot marshmallows at students from the stage) and showed this Toy Box Gang video.

Favorite Moment: Excited to be back into a series completely based on a book of the Bible. Three more weeks of exploring the book of Hosea and applying it to our lives.

The Point: We try to fill ourselves with drinking and drugs instead of the Spirit.

Fun Element: We played Pong Catch.

Favorite Moment: We did things differently this week, we were set up in round tables and incorporated discussion throughout the teaching. It was a good change up for the week.

The Point: The purpose of pornography is lust.

Fun Element: We played a quick game of Impossible Shot, but had a lot of content that we covered creatively for the topic.

Favorite Moment: We played this video to start and the students were noticeably shocked by “#1 Christian Porn Site” and to talk about the subject so straightforward.

The Point: We are called to love, not hate.
TXT: Matthew 5:43-48, 1 John 3:11-18
Fun Element: We did a fun mixer and played a game where we literally tried to throw our Connect Cards into a trash can. We brought five winners up on stage for a second round.
Set List: We Are The Free, Not To Us, How He Loves
Favorite Moment: Students wrote down on a scrap of cardboard the name of someone they need to forgive. After filling it out they laid it on the stage. There is a lot of hurt in our students, we hope this was the beginning of the process of healing for many of them.

The Point: Shame makes us feel unworthy and distant from God.
TXT: Psalm 103:12
Fun Element: It was 80’s night, so students dressed up. We played a quick round of Impossible Shot.
Set List: Rise and Sing, Our God, Mighty to Save
Favorite Moment: We did a hand washing in response to the teaching and offered an invitation. We had 5 students that came forward to follow Jesus and others for prayer and support in specific struggles they’re facing!

The Point: You can’t get close to God while pursuing sexual sin.
TXT: John 4:7-26
Fun Element: We played Fruit Ninja on the big screen and watched one last funny Facebook video.
Set List: King of Majesty, You are Holy, You Love Me Anyway
Favorite Moment: It was great to have Matthew come and share with us. He had great energy and really tied his story in with the Biblical passage.

The Point: God created sex for marriage.

Fun Element: We played a game of Facebook Hack that was pretty entertaining. We also watched another funny Facebook video.

Favorite Moment: We talked about God’s plans and intentions for sex and you never know how talking about sex to 80 middle and high school students will go over, but they were awesome and attentive!
