Listen to Ryne teach this week on the Lettersfrom the Bible.
In the final week of our series The Book (an overview at the entire Bible) we are looking at the letters written in the New Testament. It’s interesting that God decided to communicate to all of history with letters written to specific people and places. Authors like Paul, Peter and John wrote truth to specific situations that are still important for us to learn and follow today.
Throughout the letters it is obvious that the church is the hope of the world. If the church is to carry on the message of Jesus, it must work together and avoid the sin and problems that cause disunity.
God has given his people a great challenge and mission and He is still calling us today to be his ambassadors to the world.

Here are your very important announcements:
This week we come to one of the most important parts of God’s Word called the Gospels. They cover the life of Jesus. There are four books: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John and each tells the same story with a different perspective and audience in mind. The Gospels are unique because they’re not just telling a story, but they’re telling a story with the intention of proving that it really happened.
In these writings we see that Jesus was (and is) the solution to the problem of sin that we have seen all throughout Scripture up to this point. Jesus came bringing a new covenant or a new and better way to follow God. He not only came to teach, but he was the perfect sacrifice for everyone’s sin.
The story of Jesus found in the Gospels is vital to all believers. Join us this week as we dive into the person and the story of Jesus.
